Nikon D3200 Review

Are you a fan of Nikon DSLRs? Well, you're up for a good news from them as they hit the markets with their latest entry-level DSLR, which most Malaysians care not to know about? Just kidding, we love Nikon DSLRs and we know about them too!

The Nikon D3200 is currently the latest generations of the Nikon's entry-level DSLR line-ups. Featuring the latest 24MP CMOS Sensor, which gives it the right to stand tall as one of the highest pixel counts entry-level DSLR using the APS-C sensors in the market. It might not be a ground breaking revolutionary for the current DSLR technology but it is very competitive.

Nikon D3200 Specs Highlights

  • 24MP CMOS Sensor
  • ISO 100-6400(+ ISO 12,800)
  • EXPEED 3 Image Processor (Same as the Nikon D4)
  • 3.0" screen with 920k dot screen
  • Full HD 1080p with 30 frames per second. (comes with 24p and 25p options)
  • Microphone Sockets
  • Twin IR remote receivers
  • 4 frame per second continuous shooting
  • Guide mode (very helpful for beginners)
Compared to it's previous models, the D3100, there is a lot of changes that we can expect especially from the pixel count, Full HD Movie, it's imaging processor. But what makes it a lot more worth looking is the option to upgrade for a Wi-Fi Transmitter that really takes it up a little notch especially for the cameras in the entry-level range.

Size and weight

From the size factor, it does feel a little bit smaller than the D3100. I don't really know why the manufacturer decided to go with this but I'm guessing that maybe they wanted to create a more light version of DSLR so that it is easy to carry.

Ease of Use

Of course, there is no other easy camera to use than the entry-level range as they have the Guide Mode Which helps us to understand on how to use the camera with ease.

So my verdict of this DSLR? It's worth the buy as for beginners who are looking for a great DSLR to start with which have lots of great features in it. Do you own this camera? If you do, please share your thoughts about this camera with the rest of us.
